Persistent Challenges in Cheminformatics

Despite significant technological progress, key hurdles remain in data standardization, interoperability, and reusability particularly for complex molecules such as synthetically modified biologics and their conjugates (e.g. ADCs, biologics containing non-natural amino acids, and oligonucleotides), where frameworks such as HELM (Hierarchical Editing Language for Macromolecules) are essential. This first meeting will bring together leaders from academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and technology sectors to explore:

The International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA) announced the International Data Week 2023: A Festival of Data, taking place on 23–26 October 2023, in Salzburg, Austria. IDW 2023 will be hosted by the University of Salzburg through its interdisciplinary Data Science group and the Geoinformatics department, supported by the Governor of Salzburg and with assistance from the Austrian Academy of Sciences – GIScience and the European Umbrella Organization for Geographic Information.

A full day of InChI Trust meetings will be held in Kandinsky Room at The Hague Marriott Hotel in The Hague Netherlands.
We are working to schedule several different sessions during the day including an InChI Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM) and a few Working Group meetings. The InChI AGM is tentatively scheduled at 3:30 pm to 5:30 PM CEST (9:30am New York).

InChI Workshop on Inorganic Stereochemistry

There is an active project on a revision of the chemical representation of inorganics and organometallics. The Goal of this project is the identification of methods that let InChI handle the stereochemistry of organometallic and coordination compounds that are not handled in the current version. ICCS continues a well-established conference series begun in 1973 as a workshop on Computer Representation and Manipulation of Chemical Information.
